Hydrosol, what I like to call; ‘spirit water’. Also known as Aoral waters, hydrolats, distilled waters and aromatic waters are distilled plant waters. They contain powerful natural plant nutrients known as volatile compounds; including micro-particles of the essentials oils, as well as distilled water-soluble compounds. All comes as a result of an ancient pure copper distillation process which extracts and combines the plants cellular water and its essential oils. The end result is a medicinal botanical water which can be sprayed all over the face and body, where the molecules are absorbed through the skin and can travel throughout the body. It is distilled in an alembic, a pure copper still, at low temperatures over a period of four to five hours, the entire process from start to finish can take up to a day.
